Structural steel cantilever storage systems are multi-level, high density storage racks. They are designed to handle hundreds of different types and sizes of products with freedom from upright interference. Cantilever racks allow for easier product removal and replacement. They facilitate the storage of materials where long, unobstructed space is needed, such as rugs, lumber, extrusions or bar and plate stock. Cantilever racks can also be shelved to hold odd-sized boxes, crates, bundles or other bulk items.
The load carrying arm of a cantilever rack projects from a single column and is supported on only one end. They have no front post or columns along the aisle. Space utilization is therefore increased longitudinally by 100%.
