Work’s been so busy lately that we’re a bit late making this announcement, but better late that never!
We are very excited to introduce the newest member of the Hi-Cube Storage Products sales team, Walter Snyder.
Walter has long been aware of his inevitable destiny — a career in sales — for many years. While still a student at the Capilano University School of Business, he created and operated his own direct sales business. His company marketed a variety of home assistance and software to the local student population, filling an important niche. And, because the business model included door-to-door sales, Walter also learned first-hand the realities of sales, from how to accept rejection and stay positive — even (or especially!) on those not-so-hot sales days — as well as the value of working hard and seeing the job through, no matter what.
After Walter completed his studies, he took a sales position as a residential home improvement consultant for a renovation and construction company. His new job allowed him to apply not only the theories he’d learned in business school, but also implement the referral-based sale techniques he’d used while selling books and software, all while helping homeowners reach the vision they had for their properties.
During this same period, Walter finally convinced his better half, Dolita, to tie the knot. The two share many interests, including traveling, golfing and camping, as both are huge outdoor enthusiasts. Upping the fitness component of their partnership, Dolita is an avid runner, while Walter continually works to improve his amateur road cyclist status.
Walter spent three years as a sales consultant, working in a business-to-consumer role. When he recognized that it as time to take the next big leap in his sales career, he was thrilled to be offered a sales representative position with Hi-Cube Storage Products. Walter brings his excellent sales track record and his passion for helping clients to his new position. His enthusiasm and positive outlook is catching; when asked, he stated that the best thing about his new position at Hi-Cube is that the chance to work with clients from a range of industries. He realizes that product and design services will only going to gain value with time, as space becomes more scarce and innovative, creative solutions grow even more necessary.
